EXPO MILANO 1906

This year will be held in Milan for the second time a World Exposition.

In 1906, between April and November, was held behind the beautiful Castello Sforzesco, Sempione Park, another great universal exposition with a main theme for Transport with exhibitions of train locomotives production Italian and other countries.

In that year were completed the construction of the Simplon Tunnel linking Italy with Switzerland.

Inside the International Exhibition were realized also the Civic Aquarium of Milan Nouveau, still working, an exhibition aviation, an area dedicated to realizzazoni of the first neighborhoods and social security.
